"honestly i'm" ("the App") lets people share anonymous text and photo posts that are visible to all users worldwide. This policy explains what data we collect and how it is used.
The App does not require account creation, email, phone number, or any personal profile. Each device is assigned an anonymous identifier (via Firebase Anonymous Authentication) used only to prevent abuse and to let you report or block content. This identifier is not linked to your name, email, or any other personally identifying information, and is never shown to other users.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or precise location.
Uploaded photos are automatically screened using an image safety detection service (Google Cloud Vision API) to detect and remove inappropriate content before it becomes visible in the feed. Text posts are automatically screened against a list of prohibited terms. Users can also report or block content and authors.
All content and the anonymous identifiers described above are stored using Google Firebase (Firestore Database and Cloud Storage), a third-party cloud infrastructure provider. Google's own privacy practices apply to their handling of this infrastructure: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
Because there is no account, there is no personal profile to edit or delete. If you want a specific post removed, you may report it in-app, or contact us using the email below with details identifying the post.
This App is not directed at children and is not intended for users under the age required by applicable App Store age ratings.
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
